i've got one of those cars too (sadly, not the Aston Martin...yet!), and no one mentioned any issue when we got the salik thing, bloody typical, eh...? will have to try to find out more i guess...

On a related note, I got my tag a week ago and it says on the registration form that I will get a text with my account number. So far, nothing. Has anybody actually been given an account number yet? Only a week to go! What do you think the chances are of this actually starting on time?

Chances are probably VERY slim! I must get mine this week. I know it says that you can't stick it on to a tinted window. Considering most cars have tinted windows, anyone know how this will work?

I haven't decided whether to buy or not considering that I would just need to use the road about 3-4 times in a year (to go to my kid's school). Better off using another road to get there.......

Ooops and in answer to first question you (or wherever you had it done) need to cut into the tint as it won't work even through the lowest possible tint - apparently
I still haven't re-registered my car yet so have to go and do that before I can buy a tag!!!!!!!!! The petrol stations want a copy of current reg document when you buy aaaagggggghhhhhhhhh too much to do this week!!!

It may be prudent to get the tag so you don't get caught out one day if you do have to pass thru the toll. There is a 48hr grace I think if you do go through and do not have enough credit on your tag, so I presume this would be the same if you had not tag at all.
