is hotmail blocked now in UAE?

Hi! I've been trying to get to hotmail for the past couple of days and it seems to be blocked here in Abu Dhabi -anyone else having this experience?

A lot of things work in dubai that dont in Abu Dhabi... For instance I heard that some folks in Dubai get to use Skype... Is it just in freezone?

Hotmail is deffo not working here in Abu Dhabi but MSN Messenger is (!) - you just can't access your inbox from messenger.

Bizarrely, Skype is also working again without the need for a VPN.

Could be to do with the mess around with the proxy reported in Gulf News earlier this week.

I had a few days just after christmas when I couldn't access hotmail. But has been working fine since then. Just wouldn't load or anything.

In Dubai that is.
