Hotels in saudi
Hi,
My dad is coming out to work in Saudi next month and will be working in three factories (he's an engineer) The customer usually puts him up in a hotel, and probably will do this time, but I said I'd ask around for any reccomendations/places to avoid as he usually gets some say, especially if it's not decent! Money isn't really too much of an issue.
The factories, which he thing are in Riyadh area, (but then again might not be) are Hawl Al Shatee, Nakheel Al watan factory and Rukn Al Farz.
Anyone know where they are and can reccommend somewhere nice to stay?
Ta.

Depends on how 'up market' your Dad wants to go - there is the Ritz Carlton, and then the usual business type of places eg Radisson, Marriott, Faisaliah Tower also has a hotel. Don't know where those factories are though, so no idea how much travelling he will need to do.

it does depend on where he'll be working.
The golfers who are over for the MENA tour at Dirab (W Riyadh) are all staying in the Courtyard Marriot at the DQ.

Why only look for a hotel? there are some compounds that has an arrangement with some company on a day to day basis if not months just like a hotel. Maybe his company has an arrangement with some compounds. Living in a compound is better than living in a hotel. Most compounds has various facilities inside the compound itself like restaurant, cafe, gym, laundry services, swimming pools, recreation centre, transports and it has proper security.
