Beach clubs that I like are Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. It is 180dhs on a Friday but you also get a great BBQ lunch. It is much cheaper during the week but with no lunch included.

Le Meridien, Mina Seyahi is also nice but I have only ever been during the week and I think that is 100dhs (no lunch but you have Barasti Bar with great fish & chips!). Alot of construction noise going on there now though.

Who are youcalling an old pro - especiallty in the context of this thread?

I was here 5 years or so ago, and I've also done the Singapore/Hong Kong "tours of duty"

Dont get me wrong, married women are great,

I get all the fun, while some mug at home works long hours to pay for the maid, 4x4, villa,schooling... and for all the drinks i get bought....result !
