[QUOTE=Madam Medusa;6113171]as always you mean...!

Etisalat broadband starts at around 149, then 189, etc. etc. in comparison to UK speeds/per UK pound they are slow but it is useable and I give a slightly reserved ok. Browsing in the evening I find a bit slow and sometimes many errors. Everything is filtered and squeezed through Etisalats 'dodginess filter' . You may also know many websites or partial websites are blocked...anything that is culturally, morally or religiously offensive. Includes many legitimate websites that may have a dating section, those showing online photo albums, parts of Youtube, dodgy words etc.
One thing they say here is that they let the filtering technology do all the work rather than get a visit from the Spanish Inquisition.... In the UK they sooner let you download dodgy stuff, start a file on you, monitor your life with the machine that goes 'ping' and then kick both your door and head in as dawn breaks... (so I've heard anyway!)

If you want to get on any of the banned sites all you need to do is download a VPN and run that when you open your internet explorer. You can get on anything you want then
