Hi all, this is a new thing for me and so wanted to make sum new friends really.

Im thinking of emigrating/work in Dubai/Abu Dhabi and wanted sum advice or friends who have or are thinking fo moving out there too.

I think the gold on the pavements in Dubai/AD was picked up last week - perhaps there may be a shilling or 2 left in the corners

I am aware that money is not made on trees lol, i fully understand that it will be a great challenege moving out there with my family, i mainly wanted advice on others peoples experiences of moving out there, and also what life is like out there.

It all varies on how decent the package one gets and the quality of the package depends on their experience, the industry and how in demand jobs may or may not be.

Quality of life really depends if they're married with kids or not, if one enjoys getting pissed up and eating out or going to the movies or not, etc, etc.

So basically to get a decent answer, introduce yourself with what you want to achieve, what kind of work you're looking for and experiences etc and folks will probably tell you, other wise it's all a bit meh and worthless...

I'm an engligh teacher (mainly primary school), have just completed a CELTA which i am now teaching english to foreign students, and so wanted to teach that in dubai.
