help western housing in compound sought
help, like many, i'm looking for a villa in a western compound in Riyadh, for myself, colleague, and my two dogs. I know there is a long waiting list, and I know there are many in my situation, however, I've learned it's who you know. so if anyone has any leads... please! i'm working close to the DQ (yup tried there, and that would be acceptable, if there is an opening).. suggestions, etc.
thanks Joe |
Re: help western housing in compound sought
A couple of months ago some one came on here and informed us all that a new compound had just re opened very close to the DQ.
I cannot remember the name of that compound !!! sorry. It should be on here some where it just a matter of finding that info. On another note I know there are flats available inside the DQ. Now!!! how , what and where you would more info on these places i am sorry i havent a clue. Working so close to the DQ also makes it harder to find a suitable place due the traffic suituation here now. |
Re: help western housing in compound sought
thanks.. do you have any idea who to contact. I went to Al Waha houses this morning.. he told me there was nothing until December. have two dogs, a villa would be preferable, but hey, a flat would also do. thanks, if you can give me a lead to the new compound, anything that would be grand!. as i'm new here, no idea as to what's old or new.

thanks, looked it up can't find contact information, other then a satellite pic. i know that villas rosas have a unit available for 220,000, which my boss said was too expensive, and will not go for it. so frustrating, as i can't bring my dogs over until i find something. ugh!

You may have as many contacts with compound managers as you say BUT the bottom line is nearly all of the compounds are full and have very very long waiting lists.

Re: help western housing in compound sought
There seems to be more villas & apartments becoming available where I stay as the compound move hospital staff off and bring expats in.
