Help ... Ribena ... KSA!
Hi everyone - I am yet another soon to be 'newbie in Riyadh' and have a quick question .... is it possible to buy Ribena in Riyadh? Don't even ask why I need to know this (it involves unpleasant medical issues)!
If anyone could answer this question I'd be really grateful (leaving UK in a week) - many thanks.:D |
Re: Help ... Ribena ... KSA!
So many views and no replies! Does this mean that a) there's no Ribena in KSA or B) no-one knows what Ribena is????;)

Re: Help ... Ribena ... KSA!
I think everyone here knows what it is....they probably either don't know or care though I'm afraid.
Probably get it through amazon though. Welcome to BE though:) |

Re: Help ... Ribena ... KSA!
Ribena is a squash drink - which means it is fruit concentrate that you mix with water - it's made from blackcurrants. When I lived in Kuwait it was readily available so I'm hoping the same in Saudi.
Thanks everyone:D |

You can definitely get Vimto - which is basically the same thing. Enjoy!
On another note. Anybody here have an idea where I can get Oxo cubes in Riyadh? I've found Bisto at Tammimi and at Danube but I prefer the good old cube... |

MM, xx I don't drink it, so I have learnt something today!!! However the sugar free version is probably full of artificial sweetners which are even worse for your body! |
