Help! Might be moving to Jeddah

Been a while since I posted as I wasnt sure what was going on job wise. Things take to take a long time in the ME, as you all know. Anyway had an interview today for a job i applied for 2 months back. Went really well and there is only the package to tie up now.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much i need. What will a 3 bed villa in a nice compound cost me? It will be covered in the package, but I want to make sure they are giving me enough.

Thanks.

Having spent eight years in Jeddah before moving here 12 months ago, I can say with all honesty that you are lucky. Its a nice place to work. You will probably need around SR125K per annum for a modern 3-bed villa. Try Mura Bustan Compound as its family friendly and multicultural. There are some compounds worth avoiding unless you are a single male. You may find yourself working six days a week, but the hours and stress are less than here. Also, ensure you get a multiple entry-exit visa as one major downside is the feeling of imprisonment as you cannot always leave KSA when you want to. The other downsides are the crappy airport and the chaos during the Hajj Pilgrimage when every muslim wants to pass through on the way to Mecca. Otherwise, life is very much cheaper than here. Hope this may help.
