Help Job interview

Help someone. I have and interview next week, its only for a part time Secretarial position. The problem is I havent had an interview for nealy 20 years. I'm one of those fools who stays with the same company for years. Anyway any pointers or tips would be great.

Have you been give a job description or a brief on what the role entails? Who is your first interview with? If it is with HR you may well face a lot of competency based questions, which I personally hate.

The main thing is to research the company so you know what they do (if it is not already obvious). I can send you some stuff on competency based questions so you can prep and also some good questions you can ask the interviewer. It may be tomorrow before I get a chance to dig it out.

A secretary who doesn't make typos would be an advantage...and interview...nealy 20 years...sorry but it's a competitive world out there.

I have about 4 or 5 pages of really good questions you could use as a guide. Do you want to send me your email ID via PM and I can send the file on to you?

Just wear a top with a few buttons undone and you'll be fine.
