Oh yea weather is about 20oC so can be a bit chili in the shade and at night, make sure you have a wrap, or jumper with you easy access.
Also may be an Idea to book the Marhaba service to get you out of the airport as depending what time you land it can be very very very busy at customs etc and it could take over 2.5 hrs to get through

2 1/2 hours I've never waited that long in 5 years!!!!!!!!!! Which airline are you flying with IW and what time are you landing here in Dubai? As you have a young child best bet when you arrive (if parked on a normal stand) is to go down first escalator and wait for buggy transport at the bottom - saves a massive walk especially with young children

Yes, came in recently to DXB at 0100, parking at a remote stand. 45 minutes to the terminal, 1 1/2 hours in the passport queue , then get bags (already there) and straight through customs and into a taxi.
Later in the morning hopefully not too bad.

No, it was 45 minutes from wheels down, long taxi to a far corner of the airfield, disembark, then a bus which seemed to do at least one lap of the airfield to reach the terminal. (Similar at Paris CDG.)
The tough part was the 90 minute stand in the passport queue. There seemed to be no provision for those, who although not disabled as such, would find this amount of time on their feet a bit of a challenge. There were about 20 lines, 90 minutes long each - no shortage of immigration desks, just very, very busy.
Lots of flights arrive late evening, early hours of morning - partly the way of life here, night time is more pleasant, particularly in the summer, so life carries on into the small hours in a way that does not happen in more northerly climes.
