think Crate and Barrel at MCC might sell it...it's a guess as I've not actually seen it...and if you're there you might want to pop in to that hidous other shop, oh, Pottery Barn, that's what its called.
otherwise perhaps Bloomingdales, they have that seperate shop with all the kitchen stuff....
and Ikea, am sure they used to have something as well...
and what about Tavola, they might sell it...

so there you go, no real answer, but some suggestions nevertheless...

Thanks MH, appreciate it. We tried Crate and Barrel and studiously avoided Pottery Barn.... Will try some of the others....

wow, i thought crate and barrel would have had one...you could try lakeland, they have them in the uk so may stock them here, or tavola, who seem to have everything...

I am sure I've seen one in Crate & Barrell, but that was a while ago. Not seen one in Pottery Barn. (No need to avoid - it has some really nice things amongt the twee Americana.) IKEA definitely have such a thing, but it is not great quality.

It's an American homeware store. It has some nice things and some horrid things, has a stupid name and is quite expensive. Overall it has nicer things than many of the more 'local' homeware and furniture stores, as 95% of their things are vile. (Seriously, who buys all that overly-embellished shit?) It's hugely popular in the US and there are branches in Mirdiff Mall and Dubai Mall.

Just stashing away this knowledge for when I'm looking to fill a flat.
