Has anyone bought a 2 bed standalone unit in Jumeirah village triangle

We are seriously thinking of buying here rather than keep paying out for rent - would love to hear from anyone who lives out there and has bought.

signed the rental agreement last week, not moved in yet....
road access is bit of an issue, however, it looks like an upcoming area....
