The Hajj is a money making scheme the Arab tribes dreamed up, it also serves to put them at the center of world affairs and nets them allies in the Arab quest for domination. If the Arabs hadn't embarked on religious conversion, they would be far far fewer friends/allies.

As I will never take part in The Hajj, I can only go off what I read and see on TV. National Geographic 'Inside Mecca' was very interesting, it wasn't anti-Muslim but did show evidence of racism within Mecca.

Umm, you do realize that all Islamic sects make the pilgrimage to Mecca, including the Sufis and the Shia? If everything was being "exterminated" that wouldn't be the case, now would it oh knowledgeable one?

It is ironic that you paint Islam as the victim here when it is an ethnocentric and exclusivity ideology that has destroyed many a culture. Islam is nothing but Arab racial hegemony. Why did it take pressure from the Western world for Saudi to officially outlaw slavery? Ofcourse in reality Saudi still practices it.

I, and for that matter many GCC nationals, have always believed a British guy may smile when he see you, behave very friendly, but deep inside he hates you and hates your guts, and as soon as you leave the Brits will vomit out all evils about you. After reading this I am now more convinced.

Secondly white is a color also, but it is the weakest color. A person of white color knows that and that is why he is naked in the sun trying to be a person of another color.

As many GCC nationals are now highly professionals with the education revolution in the seventies and eighties, and as may low quality Brits began showing up in the Gulf, Brits are no longer respected and looked at as they used to be in the past.

Such low quality poor looking Brits you see them in Dubai or Bahrain city and airport bars after a couple of pints they lose focus and start asking you if you have a job for them. You wonder what brought them her any.

With the recent assasination in Dubai which was taped and broadcasted to the whole world, the Gulf is no longer the best place for Brits to work. Life has changed for ever.

You seem very happy to pigeon hole british expats as muslim hating, and also GCC nationals as British hating- have you ever heard of the phrase live and let live? Am I the only one to believe the colour of your skin is completely irrelevant whether you be white, black, brown or whatever we are all human, colour is just a decoration, what you believe in your heart is what makes you what you are, by the sounds of it you hate any english, perhaps you should open your mind to accepting we are all equal- its all just geography at the end of the day- you can't help where you are born.

Personally I don't care what colour, creed or religion you are, its all the same chemistry just comes down to how open your mind is, and I would say yours is not open at all.

It's posts like yours that makes me think there is no chance we can all cohabit peacefully in this world together. Why do you hate the british so much? we all have reason to hate each other but its the better man that can put the past behind them and move forwards.

Don't we all want a peaceful world?

I'm replying to one persons opinion-isn't it the minority groups that seem to take the most drastic actions and get the most press coverge?

What the majority feels is no longer important when the press picks up and covers minority values. How many peoples views are swayed by what they read in the tabloid press which doesn't give an accurate view of how the majority feel.

One persons opinion can make a difference. Whether we all chose to listen to that opinion is a different issue. You just have to stand up and say you disagree- no? Power to the people and all that.

And as much as I may speak generally, I do struggle to see how we can ever have a peaceful world as long as people show opinions like this poster.
