I am arriving in Jeddah shortly for two to three weeks to 'sort out work and Visa details!' Work have said that they are putting me up at the Habitat Hotel, in Jeddah. So, what does anyone know about this Hotel? do I bring my trunks or better to bring bottled water instead? Thanks all.

Its On the Madinah Road, Very Central and looks ok from the outside. Massive furniture shop downstairs. I have heard it has a good Eye Tie also. You should be OK and its quite central.

Agreed it looks nice but it's not what I'd call central... possibly the nearest half-decent hotel to the airport.

Yeah, used to live pretty close to it, though never went in, as mentioned, on the Medinah Road, not far from Hera St.

Not too far from the Corniche either, close to the airport and around 20-30 mins from Obhur ( beaches, Marina, scuba diving/snorkelling ). Also close to Mall of Arabia.

What was the other Habitat place further downtown? Not far from Al Bilad, King Abdullah / Medinah Road junction? Was it the Habitat Office shop?

Thanks for that, how far is it from Sharbatly and also Jeddah Knowledge school?

Not sure where JKS is, but can't be far from Sharbatly Compound as the its the same woman who owns both. The Compound will be about 15 mins drive away from Habitat, depending on traffic.
