nope you really should go with the dealers etc, and they arent that good compared to 'other' standards. we used to have a seat and they are very good in mussafah.

alright commander,

i have a kia sportage, i think the water pump is going plus i recon it needs a service. as it has'nt any service history i am not interested in paying over the top prices by bringing it to a dealer. looking for a decent garage, i have found one near abu dhabi mall called Missak that i have used before. Only problem is I have had a friend who blew his head gasket and it took them 4 attempts to get it running right again.

Any contacts would be great

Cheers

dan

Dan, doesn't your friends experience tell you something? It's very often cheaper, in both short and long term, to service and repair at a dealer. They have all the relevant tooling and software to diagnose and rectify problems. Get an estimate from the dealer and tell them they must get your authority before completing any work not on the estimate. They will also use genuine parts, not fake knock offs which are prone to failure.

If they fail to sort it, you always have recourse to the manufacturer, which you don't have with back street garages.
