Default Good experience with estate agents in DXB?

I know using the term good with estate agent sounds a major contridiciton but has anyone had any good experiences with sales agents?

I have a friend who wants to invest in a 1 bedroom for around 900,000 AED, cash in a completed development for rental income with a view to moving in himself when he retires in five years. He's looking at Dubai Marina at the moment.

He thinks there will be some good bargains to be had now so has asked me for any estate agents recommendations.

I was thinking of referring him to one of the bigger names like Better Homes or Go Wealthy but if anyone has any personal recommendations please let me know

just a small point - how will he get a visa if he's retired? Or is a visa run every 30 days in his plan?

Tell him to give me the money: I will spend 2/3s of it on expensive beer and cheap blow jobs, and put the remaining 1/3 in the bank account.

I promise I will give him more back in 5 years time than we will get investing in real estate here!

Rental income isn't great here at the moment - quite a lot of over building...
