well I made it, waltzed through customs, got my mac (although I had to pay 400dir duty as its worth over £1200) and am now almost at the end of my first week of work, its going brilliantly and I'm loving it,

I'm staying in Deira on al maktoum street and its fine, although I went for a wander and got appraoched by about 12 chinese prositutes which was amusing,

bit so far so good, I'm loving it here,

Spugsy

p.s. oh aye went to the irish bar to see Newcastle get beat by arsenal, bah, even my food and kronenburg didn;t help....

cheers for all your help anyway you lot, madame medusa in particular, you've been really, really helpful.

why don't you pop over to the quiz on Monday night?
will be a 5 quid taxi ride over from the wrong side of the creek and traffic should be no problem as you will be heading in the opposite direction to the jams!
