Get driving licence for female in Bahrain (KSA resident)

Is it possible for a female to reside in KSA and gradually obtain a car driving licence in Bahrain via a driving course/test?

If you have a UK Licence you can rent a car in Bahrain, if you do not I would imagine you would have to be a Resident to enable you to take driving lessons and ultimately a test to obtain a Bahrain License

If you have a British driving license you can rent in Bahrain.

As a man, you can even, with some companies, get (paid) permission to drive it into Saudi (if you pay for additional Saudi insurance)

Yes, British lady - just trying to get FIRST driving licence.
UK means expensive & spending lots of time there.

I'd say if you don't have a Bahrain residency you won't have a chance of getting a licence.

actually, Bahrain also "means expensive & spending lots of time there" as it isn't cheap to hire driving instructors and there is a very long waiting list for instructors which is legendary.

Without a full license at all, I doubt she will qualify. However, it might be useful to post here
