Ford Explorer V Grand Cherokee. Doha
Hi, we are currently using a hire car and are looking at buying a 4x4. Any thoughts on The Explorer compared to The Grand Cherokee? And if it would be worth upgrading the Grand Cherokee 3.6 L to the 5.7 V8 version as this is only 10,000 QAR extra? Appreciate any opinions on this, thankyou!!

I've got an Explorer and almost bough the Cherokee instead, but the 5.7l one I found was the same price as the Ford but a bit older and with more miles.
Cherokee will be much nicer inside but you'd be surprised at how many times I (partner and I, no kids) have used the back row (seats 6 and 7).
Ford cheaper. Jeep better.
