According to the National

"Displays will begin at 8.30pm and last for 45 minutes from three barges at Emirates Palace Marina Bay and from five more alongside the West Corniche.

Firework shows will be visible from the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Al Bateen Marina, according to the Emirates Palace."

I think the West Corniche is the posh name for near Lulu Island but not sure! Watch out for the horrendous traffic if you are going!

I wonder if we will have any in Dubai, we are lucky as we have a clear view of the Burj Al Arab so fingers crossed, saying that it might be a tad tacky in light of the recent revelations.

I would be very shocked if they do have any - but who knows, they may have a spare 20m tucked away

Burj Al Arab is 10 years old today, but they announced no celebrations as it is a 'private hotel'.

Did anyone see the fireworks? IMO I thought they were not as good as last year and in true AD style started over an hour late. World record might be stretching it!
