It might sound a suspicious question, but does anyone know where I go in Dubai to get a set of official finger prints taken? I am required to supply a set to the Aussie police to obtain a police check cert!!

I would rather not pursue the traditional means of getting finger prints done, if you know what I mean!!!

I'm a straight forward kinda guy, so I would go to the CID either on DXB/SHJ road or at station at Port Rashid entrance and they will be happy to oblige for a fee!!

Go get your UAE ID and ask for a copy of the prints............worth a try

Yes Port Rashid is good, but I think you will need the form be filled in in arabic - if they do it for you - good for you - we popped into a typing shop in satwa. You will need photo(2 I think) and 100/120dh.

They should have it ready in a few days. It says on it only valid for 3 months.

Think it always has been. Remember when we had them done in 1990 for NZ migration it was only for 3 months.
