I will be working at DIC, so im keen to live close by, however i have been told that SZR is shit at that time in the morning and J5 is at a stand still.

Also being young-ish i like to go out alot and socialise, and am thinking that maybe E-hills and Meadows maybe a bit far in a taxi at 2am, full of vodka.

so....do i go for living close to work, and spending half my night in a taxi, or stay closer to town (bars and clubs) and suffer the traffic in the mornings.......????
Nothing's far in a town this size, and a taxi from town to E Hills at 2 in the morning is nothing more than a 15-20 min journey. Only other thing is the build quality of the housing is shite with a capital 'S'

and what 'town' would that be? the Marina?

have u ever tried to get into the junction 5 area between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning (from the centre of Dubai)? It takes a minimum of 45 minutes on a good day! and god help u if there is an accident. :scared:

Eh? Think he's talking about living up E Hills way so would be getting out of J5, which is OK if you do it before the school run starts at 08:00.

i think he is refering to getting to work (ie, the Internet City) from town in the am's...... and getting out of the hills at 8 takes 20-30 mins at least...... deadly commute across that stupid junction just to get to the other side.
