FB woes
 

stupid internet cafe gives facebook.com as a bizarre white screen, text-only version that doesn't allow me to send any data :-(

He tells me it's a global facebook problem for the last 48 hours, his friends in Canada(!) say the same

and yet I have had messages on facebook from UAE people, so that's clearly b11x

Don't suppose anyone else has had problems lately?

Lots of peole are having the same problem but it seems to be random, some people in the UAE can access it with no problems then others, me included just get a basic text style page and can't message.:frown:

the only problem i'm having on facebook is i can't find pookey on there...

It's a weird one.

I can send mails from work PC but not from laptop at home...

Yep working fine now - thought the problem was with my connection.

BTW I had similar problems in the past, not just this site but other sites as well:frown:

i know.. I'm such a nazi. :o

It worked for me later as well. (though I still maintain that I am religiously opposed to the very idea of facebook and I will not get addicted, no matter what).

you're already addicted you just don't know it yet...

I hear etisalat will be banning facebook soon as well :lol:
