Export a car from Dubai to Ras al khaimah
Looking at a second hand car from private seller in dubai.
I understand I have to jump through a few hoops to get it done....anybody done it recently? Any help appreciated.

don't think it's that bad, we bought a car recently with Ajman plates and got them transferred to AD so it is proof it can be done. PRO did the legwork though.

Its pretty easy. Look through this forum, there are a few posts on exporting cars from Dubai on there. Mostly to AD, but RAK shouldnt be much different from the export side of things.

He's the guy who arranges everything for your visa, and in some rare cases indeed as someone earlier mentioned the sponsor himself.
Anyway, its not rocketscience; de-register the car in Dubai, mount the blue export plates on your car, drive up emirates road (or outer bypass, whatever suits you best) and register when you're in RAK.
