Hi,
Anyone know of any companies that will provide Temporary cover on someone else's car for a non UK resident. (I have a full UK and Qatar license)

Looking to insure ourselves on my father in laws car so we don't have to fork out stupid money for a hire car.

Any leads would be appreciated...

If you search the forums you may find some suggested companies to try, I’m pretty sure there was a recent thread in the Moving Back to the UK forum about the same thing.

Your UK licence isn’t valid if you’re not resident at the address on it, so you’ll need to use your Qatari licence.

Have just read your other thread where you said Aviva wouldn't help, so I've deleted my reply. They must have changed their policy because it was so easy for us to add a couple of international visitors to our existing insurance policy.
