I prefer a lounge type atmosphere as opposed to a club... Something not too loud, and not full of drunken people, I like a good drink, but I can't believe the way people here in London do it (I live within sight of Emirates Stadium where Arsenal plays... you can imagine what it looks like here on match days!). Maybe something with a bit of live music. I'm also into the bar scene - know of any good spots for 20 and 30 something young professionals?

I think the Chavs make it into town for matches. Since arriving in the UK, I have become adept at recognizing them, based on the Urban Dictionary definition... (Search google "Urban Dictionary" Chav).

It is too hot to put the roof down for about 4 months of the year, depending on how brave you are. Something with a detachable (Porsche) or folding (SLK) hard top makes the summers a bit more bearable.
You will get an SLK 350 for a lot less than £40,000 here. People who buy 4x4s, or modern American cars need to be shot. Driving in Lebanon is hugely entertaining. I remember the first time I did it I waited patiently at the lights to turn left towards Solidare....I didn't make that mistake twice. |

One of my cars is a Boxster S and the AC works fine in the winter. It's a fun little car to drive and are pretty cheap in Dubai.

Is a Porsche flashy? I never thought so... It's a fairly common car I think, on par with a 3-series BMW...
