End of Ramadan Oman
Anyone know what day is the end of Ramadan or more to the point when do the bars reopen. We appear to have started the Eid holiday too esrly ?? No point being on holiday if all the bars are closed !

As far as I'm aware, unless the moon is sighted tonight, Eid will start on Tuesday.

logically bars open on the night of the first day of eid, which is today on 28th July so logically, the bars should be open tonight, at least here in UAE...

Got it - although the Saudi moon sighting committee, in liaison with the UAE sighting committee, managed to get a sighting of the moon on Sunday, the Oman moon sighting committee has still not managed to get a sighting anywhere in Oman so Eid starts tomorrow. I am desperate for a pint of Kilkenny.

Sorry I should have said Fujairah...
