Emirates ID Card Renewal
Alrighty,
Help please!
I have a Emirates ID card which expired in 2010. This was based on my Sharjah visa. I was then changed over to an Abu Dhabi visa. The new visa was through the same employer (it was to allow me to work on ADOC sites where you need an AD visa).
My question is, does anyone know if I can just renew my Emirates ID card by supplying the new AD visa details, paying the fines etc? Or do I have to go and give all my biometric data again.
Also, just for fun, I don't have access to my passport at the moment. So will a passport and visa copy be sufficient?
Also, where is the best processing office to go to?
Cheers in advance.

Panic over! (phew I can hear you say)
Went online, filled out the mother of all forms, one page of which required to be filled out in Arabic, attached scanned copies of relevant docs, paid fine (grrr) and its off away for processing!
All in all shockingly easy for the UAE!
