All residents at the under-privileged Meadows and Springs can presumably use the lovely pool and leisure complex at The Lakes by showing their Emaar residential passes. I am only guessing. In any event, the lack of a swimming pool is hardly a problem, surely? You are spoiled when compared with many on here.

If they were promised (and have paid for) a nearby pool but it's not been made then I can see why they would grumble.

Lionhart en famille live in a squalid bed-sit in deepest Bur Dubai. Why spend money on an extra bedroom when there's so many less fortunate people in Africa and India who would be ecstatic just to have a proper one-room apartment.

Emaar Properties has increased community service charges for The Meadows for 2011. The British firm is also working on unveiling similar projects across the Gulf countries. I hope that these rates will increase again with the passage of time but only if the Dubai government helps those companies.

Emaar Properties has increased community service charges for The Meadows for 2011. The British firm is also working on unveiling similar projects across the Gulf countries. I hope that these rates will increase again with the passage of time but only if the Dubai government helps those companies.
