Electric Problem
Got a problem that one of the switches in the main control box keeps tripping - its nothing major just the door entry phone and the a/c control in the kitchen - keep putting it back on but it only lasts a couple of minutes. Is there anything else I can do or just call an electrician tomorrow

Last week had a light in the house start smoking and blew the circuit breaker, it was water ingress, which is still related to the flooding a few months back. |
Re: Electric Problem
Sounds like the a/c. Turn the a/c off and switch the breaker back on. if it stays on call an air conditioning company... If not then call an electrician..

Re: Electric Problem
switch everything off, put the breaker back in and than start pluging things in and switching them on one at time. Should be able to isolate the problem. Then likely you will need an electrician or take the appliance to the dealer.
Good luck and be carefull! don't get :scared: |

Good luck and be carefull! don't get :scared: Air conditioners have a 3 minute time delay to the 'outdoor' section before they heat/cool therefore 'it only lasts a few minutes then trips' ties in with the air conditioner timing out ,trying to run and blowing the fuse/trip.. However diagnosing at 4k miles isn't easy.. Cheers Richard |
