Bored folk,

Any idea's if either:

1. Midiff is covered on E-life or
2. Where I can check the coverage areas for E-life.

Trying to get a straight answers out of Etisashat I like getting blood from the proverbial stone... Whilst Du are shite at least they have coverage areas for fibre listed on their website and so I can see they are a no go...

They've just done DSO so pretty sure they'll be onto Mirdiff soon if not already. Last time I checked you had to go into one of the main branches ie by Murooj they can't tell you in the mall based shops

Yup it's available in mirdif significant improvement over al shite but was atotal ball ache getting it sorted

Shiva - How long did it take. I make just take Shamil to start and then get them to upgrade it later if that would be quicker.

long story short.

was told it wasnt available, two days later technicians fitted the fibre optic cables and two days after that was wired up. it then took about a month to get them to come back and fix the phone line that the lazy bastard had hacked together then another few weeks to find out why they had "lost" our phone number and get a new one. (they really did lose our number mind numbing that one)

id just go for it as they are reluctant to give anyone alshamil now anyway and if it isnt a total **** nugget fitting it it should only take a day or so depending on whether the new place already has the fibre connecting box.
make sure you check the landline quality before they leave and that the number actually rings in your house, ours rang but god knows whos house it rang in....

Oh forgot to say we signed up the other day but they've quoted 3-4 weeks to come and fit the box will update as and when it ever happens

it's available in some parts but it appears they ran put of cash and just stopped at some point

Yes we were told that 6 months ago but they've just put our cables in 2 weeks ago so they must have found some surplus cash
