I know its vulgar to ask, but what's the going rate at the places you're talking about?

Bespoke (codename for Parmar), and Ascot & Chapels also in DIFC.
Ascot & Chapels give free shirts with their suits, but I have no experience with them.
Men's shirts in DXB are AED 200-250 depending on the shop and, finishes and fabric. Sometimes they ask more, but they can be negotiated to a max of 250 especially if you order 2-3 of them.
My last suit was a nice Italian herringbone wool. It cost AED 2500 with 3 fittings at Lobo. Their suits are built to last. From the inside it looks like workwear, with reinforced stitching, etc. The fusing is perfect 2.5 years later. They charge AED 1500 for the manual work and the fabric is extra. I look like a Prime Minister whenever I wear it. (Not sure which one tho!)
My advice - if you have a suit and shirt that you particularly like the fit - bring it in. Make sure they understand your standards of fit. They can use this as a starting point and tailor from there.
Lobo are the best suits in Dubai hands down. Nice shirts too.
Parking sucks tho!

Re: DXB Tailors
So far, I havent had ant suits made. Normally I have a dozen or so shirts made whenever I go. Just wondering if there are any other better tailors.
I might get some trousers made. In the UK, my tailors charge approx £290 for a pair of trousers. Too much!! I will get some here!

Re: DXB Tailors
I use a Tailors in Bur Dubai, Balans, they are fantastic.
Choose your cloth from one of the numerous fabric shops around and then go in and have it all measured and made.
In general I end up paying about 75 AED for a shirt and 125 AED for a pair of tailor made trousers, and that is inclusive of the fabric and the stitching. I recently had a suit made for 650 AED, with no discernable difference between them and any of the more expensive tailors.
They can also do embroidery if asked with choices of linings too.
If you wear this stuff everyday it is great value.
