DVDs, CDs and Videos
 

I am hoping to move to Dubai soon and have heard conflicting reports on what I am and am not allowd to bring into the UAE as personal belongings.

I have a collection of two hundered DVDs, four hundred CDs and a few videos. None of them have any pornographic content and most of which are the usual Holywood (and UK) well known films.

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences of bringing in DVD/Videos. If they are declared, I have heard that they will be taken away to be screened by the ministry of information. I don't mind this but will I be charged for them watching my films?

Any useful info would be useful.
