Take a look at this

My guess is that he stayed at Regal Plaza, (the reference to brits watching footy is a bit of a giveaway).

He also has some interesting comments on Dubai, and Cyclone - a place I've never een (seriously - although I have been seen there???).

Anyway, take a look, I think he sums up the dusty city quite well.

Very good. The last paragraph sums up a lot of it for me. I find some of the Expats' attitudes here to be completely insufferable.
