Dubai - seeking a financial advisor.
After several years in the Middle East I am now so obscenely wealthy that I need to find someone to help me spend the massive sums of cash that I have just lying around the place. Ha! I wish.
However, I would like to find an advisor to speak to about investments etc and am looking for recommendations for a paid service. I am _not_ interested in speaking to someone who is unqualified and working on a commission basis - I get enough calls from guys like that already "awight mate!"

Same here, trying to find someone in dubai, if you find someone let me know, just phoned what I thought was a reputable company, but they don't answer the phone after 7pm

Hi winter,
If it was a recommendation does your friend have a personal mobile number of his/her adviser, maybe try calling that out of office hours.. I regularly receive calls after "office hours" from my clients.

I have a very simple criteria if someone wants to become a client. You just have to be pleasant. It's not about the money. Life is too short to bother with rude and ungrateful people.
I am pretty generous with my time, as many posters will be aware, so it's disappointing to come across someone who is so very impolite. I am sure they'll end up with the advice they deserve...

Am curious to know which firm this is...can you let me know by PM? Our Dubai and Abu Dhabi office are usually manned at 5pm. Why don't you try earlier or drop them an email?
Better still you have two qualified and experienced advisers loitering these forums with nothing to do but argue politics and religion...the one in Dubai works for another company to me but I'd still recommend her if you're Dubai based unless you're already speaking to someone from my company. I now only take on on Dubai clients if they are referred by existing clients and they don't call me after 5pm (except to invite me for beer...)
