Hi all,
The UK firm I am working for is setting up an office at DIC. I have been told today that the free zone will sort out the visas and immigration on my behalf... great!
Also, I was told that they would be my sponsor rather than the company I work for? I have not heard of this before - can anyone confirm this to be the case?

Yes, I can confirm that it is the case (at least from the numerous visas I've seen) when you're employed in the free zone.
