Dubai dry?

Is dubai a dry area today/tonight due to somebody's birthday? Or am l just having my leg pulled?

I just called Aussie Legends, just cause I have their number, and they did confirm that it is dry.

well it's not his birthday, but yes it'll be dry.

If this is the same thing I recall speaking to a Lebanese guy in Abu Dhabi (who has been here for 30 years) about the length of the journey and the time that he did it in not stacking up. He thought for a while and said " I don't know....maybe he has Ferrari?"
