Dubai Comedy Convention
Anyone going? Just bought my tickets and being new here have no idea where exactly it is. Its in the amphitheatre, which is...?
I only bought them to see Omid Djalili to be honest...hope has some new material though.

Never heard of him/her...so can you give us an idea of the sort of humour you are talking about...and I guess the amphitheatre is either at Dubai Media City or in the Madinat Jumeirah complex.

he's and english/iranian comedian, pretty good, had a comedy show on showtime not so long ago that was ok....

Djalili used to be funny, but that speaking in a foreign accent schtick and fat man belly dancing to get a laugh thing has been done to death.

Yes thats what i was worried about, he hardly has any new material, but he is funny never the less.
Im going on the 24th April but i think its on a few days before that.
