Default Dubai Budget: realistic?

Hi Everyone,

I have receiver my job offer and we are looking the numbers to see if we will go or not to Dubai.

Our situation: European couple in early 30s, we are expecting our first kid. I will work, she will not the first year.

After some research in this amazing forum we came to the following budget (in Dirhams per year) and we would like to know if you think it is realistic:

Rent, 2 bedroom apartment (no need for furnitures): 160,000
Car (1st year): 40,000
Grosseries: 35,000
Trips (3 times per year to Europe): 35,000
Utilities & Council Tax: 14,000
Enterteinment: 30,000
Health (we have medical and dental plan): 10,000
Others: 20,000

Total: 344K for first year.

If you do a search and have a look in the wiki you might find this has been done (cough) once or twice before. After you've had a look at what is already on the forum if you come back with specific questions you will probably get more responses.
