Dubai Airport, what's open?

Looking at flights to Thailand. Normally fly via Bahrain but that's not an option right now as things stand.

Been looking at flights but the layovers are really long. What's open at Dubai Airport? Are bars and restaurants open? Is the duty free open?

How easy to get into Dubai from the airport to an area with bars open? Never been to Dubai before so would only want easy option. Don't care about atmosphere. Just want booze available.

Cheers. :drinkwine:

There's a fair bit of stuff open but not everything . 5 mins in a cab from T3 is the Irish Village , still a great spot especially in good weather .

What he said. This time of year the only bad part of the IV is that your arse hurts after many hours on wooden seats.
