Dubai Airport shower facilities

Dubai Airport shower facilities
Hello.
I am flying out from New York to Australia on Saturday with a 6 hour layover in Dubai. I would like to know if there are any shower facilities in the airport that I could use. I am flying economy with Emirates, so do not expect access to the upper higher end lounges in the airport (or indeed, on their A380).
I read somewhere that the dubai international hotel can facilitate this for a charge. Is this the case?

Yes there are showers in the airport. Not sure what terminal it is but I noticed them when I was flying to Australia a few months ago so I'd imagine it is the same terminal.
