Dubai Accomodation?!?
I know everybody's asking the same questions, but I hope someone out there can help me! I'm going to Dubai in September for 3 months and need a flat or some kind of accomodation for that time. I'm working on the Sheikh Rashid road not far from the Creekside Park and the Wafi buildings. Does anybody know of any accomodation around there? I've been told I should expect to pay about AED 10,000 for 3 months. Is this about right?
Hopeful thanks!

Thanks for replying!
I'm not really very fussed about what kind of accomodation I have. An apartment or a flat would probably be the best thing. It's just me going and I don't need much space or a huge amount of luxury. My only main requirement is that it's within reach of the area I described in the last posting. Many thanks for those websites, I'll have a browse now.

Occasionally the landlord may want 1 cheque - if you can do this, then you can often bargain the price down quite substantially (AED 5-10,000). Estate agent fee is normally 5%, then there is usually a refundable security deposit - probably in the region of around AED5,000.

The Hotel Apartment idea is one that I've finally chosen to go for. I'll be in Bur Dubai. A good area?
