Driving from RAK to Muscat

I fancy driving my new HSBC financed vehicle across the border to visit some friends in Oman for a few days and back. I wonder if this would be permitted by border security. The car has both UAE and Oman covered in its insurance.
Would I need a NOC from HSBC? The car is registered to my name, but the mortgage is mentioned in the Mulkiya.

Yes, easy.

If they blocked every financed vehicle from crossing the border, few would ever get through.

Yep you will need this. friends recently got stopped and turned away as they did not have the NOC from the bank
They will know it is on finance by your registration card
