Doha Liquor licence
Am i right in thinking this is only 10% of your basic salary?
So no bonuses or allowances etc can be taken into consideration?
My work is making mine up for me today and obviously i want as much booze as possible
I get things like hardship allowances etc written into my contract which make a decent part of my final salary.... Be shame to not get this included
Can anyone shine a light on this?
Cheers in advance

Re: Doha Liquor licence
Its probably not relevant but in UAE it is usually a maximum of AED1000 a month (although I have seen one guy with AED1500).
Not that the figure really mattered cos if you wanted more they'd just give it to you using the "house/shop" card.
As to whether that happens in Qatar, who knows.

The limit is based on 10% of your basic salary, plus housing allowance. So do the maths before you go. In any case, you'll get a huge allowance which your liver couldn't possibly cope with, even coverting you allowance into 18 year old malts.
You will also need your ID Card, Salary Letter from your employer addressed to QDC and a form which you can collect in the waiting room and fill in there and then. There's a QR1000 deposit, so you will need this in cash which is available from a bank machine in the lobby.
Best go during the day when it is quiet, avoid Thursday after work, when there arre massive queues.
My experience anyway.
