Doha - Job Opportunities for Spouse availabel?
 

Hello everyone and thank you for your answers.

I have a job offer in Doha and would like to take my wife with me. However, she is very hesitant because she is worried that she will not find a job in doha.

She has a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in facility management. She has about 3 years of work experience as a test equipment engineer and has been employed at the airport in Munich as a work planner/process engineer for about 1 year. She is a Malaysian citizen. The bachelor degree is from Malaysia, the Masters Degree from Switzerland.

How difficult will it be for you to find a suitable job in doha and what will her salary be?

For spouses finding jobs in Doha, the landscape is tough. That said in your wife’s case, I think that Malaysia Airports Bhd does some work with Doha airport. Perhaps checking out opportunities there may be an idea.
