Doha Duty Free

Is it possible to buy alcohol at Doha Duty Free for a flight bound for the UK?

Sounds like a crazy question, I know, but have never even looked. Friends are flying Dubai/Doha/UK so they're unsure whether to buy in DXB or Doha. Have always bought when back in DXB as we've never transitted through Doha on the way back to UK.

Any help appreciated.

There's not a huge selection, but it's available

I thought they have an OK selection- I mean it isn't heathrow but they have vodka, gin and whiskey.... depends what they are after I guess, I can't remember if the prices are about the same or not though, but seeing as there is absolutely nothing to do at Doha airport I would wait til they get there if they have time to kill.
