Doha, advice on negotiating package
Just wanted to get a feel for what "extras" are included these days if any.
Initial offer is 12000 euro a month ( 60K QAR) with nothing extra, but looking to negotiate on that , even to get flights or car allowance.
We are currently in Scandinavia , so imagine have similiar (high) living costs.
The take home after tax at present is 9500 euro but that includes both working.
We have two primary aged children currently in an international school and fees look similiar to fees in Qatar ( assuming 80000 QAR annually).
Rental prices , would 15000 QAR a month get a three bed place in a compound with swimming pool?
Can see from boards that school places are an issue, so possiblity is try and get places for Sep 15 and family stay where they are until then.

I think you are doing quite well where you are, taking home a combined 9500 Euro a month. For an extra 2500 a month you are going to have to put up with a ton of shite......I wouldn't move for that...Enjoy your lives in a civilized country

Mmm , fair enough!! unfortunately the move might be on the table when the current Scandinavian project finishes but will enjoy our life until then.
