do not believe every thing you hear!
Hi
They told us stories about how awful is to live in Syria.
my father was very warried but once we got there we learned that things are not what they seem.
we have been here in Syria for 3 yrs. It's different from Britain, but still charming.
I made alot of friends, been to wonderful places, and had good times.
tell me about your experience
where do you live now?
are you happy.
hope you are...

I went by bus from Damascus up to some villages within the river valleys - just for tourism and the trip was fantastic.
...but I had to fill out an immigration form (as did everyone else) just for a bus journey.
Damascus is a beautiful city. I was very well met.

The souk at Aleppo is wonderful. We had a fair few power cuts when we were in Syria but I expect that they have sorted things now.
