Do ANY apartments in Dubai allow DOGS?

Hi,
I was just wondering if any apartments in Dubai allow Dogs at all? The place is full of apartment blocks so at least one must surely?
Looking at other post people say it is in their tennancy agreement not to have them but what if you bought a place?

Cheers

Yes, some do. Discovery Gardens does, and the Green Community. I think JBR allows smaller dogs too.

Depends on the "community rules" set by the management company. Check before you buy.

Lots of people keep cats in their apartments, despite not officially being allowed to by the rules of their building/tenancy, but then cats are quiet and don't need a daily walk, so once you've got them inside, nobody need know they're there. Obviously, it can be a bit difficult keeping a dog under the radar when you're having to smuggle it in and out of the building for its walk every day :)
